Yes!
Got one yesterday - yeh not a basd job on the cooling front - I had a couple of warm mini oragne juices that I took out of the car and popped them in. In a couple of hours they were well cool.
We gonna use it along side our standard coolbox for taking lunch and tea out with us.

Review - Left this on permanently in the van for 16 nights in south of france and it kept water cool - well pleased
Only problem I had is that I burnt cigarette lighter out on car 10 mins after we left- I overloaded it!
Luckily The mondeo has one inn the boot and I had an extension lead to run the sat nav (which was awsome abroad) and the invaluable dvd player for Mia

It didn't burn out the lighter it just blew the fuse.
Do I use it in the car again though?

Check its rating. It may work if it is the only thing in the circuit, but if using the dvd and satnav as well might trip?

Most 12v sockets in cars are rated between 10 - 15amps. So if ya had satnav + dvd + fridge, it'd prob pop the fuse. Our Aldi cool box now has a broken handle due to me filling it with too much beer  |

I used it all the way to Portugal and it was fantastic - used on its own in the socket this time - luckily the mondeo has one in the boot so thats where it was plugged in and Satty and DvD player in the front one.
Used the whole time we were there to cool water and all the way back in the car
It was a good investment

It was such a great purchase - lidl also have back in for only a fiver - thier little caming (REAL) barby - what an awesome fiver mine has been - two years ago - I am sentimentally attached to mine now
